Street Roots is a nonprofit, grassroots newspaper that assists people experiencing homelessness and poverty by creating flexible income opportunities. Their newspaper vending program provides an important first step back onto the economic ladder. One of our first projects in Portland was to create a training video to help the vendors learn the ins and outs of selling the paper. We are proud to say that we were involved in increasing vendor retention by 70%!
